Telly Monster

Here is my next Sesame puppet. He is purple and loves triangles, it's Telly Monster. I made Telly last month. He was made from a purple fur rug I bought at Walmart. His eyes and nose were carved from white foam. He is a little too big but I still really like him. He was my third Telly puppet.

Baby Bear

Yesterday I made yet another friend from Sesame Street. He is furry, brown, he loves porridge and is Telly's best friend. It's Baby Bear. Baby Bear was made from a furry brown plush throw blanket. His eyes are made from sliced Styrofoam balls. This is the 2nd Baby Bear I made. I really like him and I plan to make Papa Bear and Mama Bear at some point in time. I made his best friend telly and will show you him in another post.

Kermit the Frog

Here is another Sesame Street friend I made that I will show you. He is green and has flippers, it's Kermit the Frog or as Grover calls him, FROGGY BABY!. Most of you think of him as a Muppet Show character but he was a big part of Sesame Street. He was there in the very beginning and stayed until season 32 but he made a cameo in season 40. Kermit was made from green polar fleece and his eyes are made from Styrofoam balls (I might replace them with ping pong balls later on). I also made his reporter outfit with tan polar fleece. I really like the way he turned out. He is my 7th Kermit puppet and my best Kermit puppet.

Grover

Hello everybody! I am here to show you another Sesame Street puppet. He's blue and furry, he's your old pal Grover. I made Grover in winter of 2017 but he has had several modifications. He is made from a blue towel. He got modifications on his mouth, nose and eyes. I really like this Grover. I made his grumpy customer Mr Johnson and will show him to you later on and am making his Super Grover costume.

Count von Count

Here is my Count von Count. I made Count a few months ago. He is made form purple polar fleece and his clothes were made from various fabric scraps I found around the house. This is my 2nd Count puppet (ah ah ah). I really like him. I plan to make his talking number friends, his bats and his female friend The Countess

Zoe

Here is my newest Sesame Street puppet, she's furry, orange and Elmo's best friend it's Zoe. Zoe is made out of some fur I got from a thrift store. Her eyes are Styrofoam balls (the good ones) and her hair is made from orange craft feathers. She took me all day to make but it was worth it.

Oscar the Grouch, Slimey the Worm and Grundgetta

Here is another great Sesame Street character I made for this show, he's green and grouchy, it's Oscar the Grouch. And he is not alone, two of his best friends are here too.

Oscar was made from a furry green rug that I got from a thrift store. His eyes are Styrofoam but I might replace them later. I still need to find him a trash can.
Oscar the Grouch
Next we have Oscar's little pet worm, it's Slimey the Worm. I made Slimey back in November of 2017. He had some modifications after I made him. He is made from orange polar fleece (what I had left from Ernie) and 2 wooden BBQ skewers for the rods. I really like him.
Slimey the Worm
Now we have Oscar's "grouch girlfriend" Grundgetta. Almost everyone knows this character but nobody else has made a replica of this character. I made her out of a furry green pillow I got from a thrift store. Her hair was made form some fur I had left over from Oscar. Her shirt was made from purple coral fleece. I know she is not to accurate but I really like her.

Prairie Dawn

Here is another SS puppet I made for this series. She's pink and loves the piano, it's Prairie Dawn. Prairie was made from hot pink micro fleece, Her hair was made from some yellow fur I had lying around (the same fur I used for Captain Quack). Her dress is made from some white and blue polka dotted cotton fabric I got from Walmart. Her shoes are made from foam and are covered in blue fleece. This is the 4th (and best) Prairie Dawn I have made.

Big Bird, Mr Snuffleupagus and Little Bird

Here is everybody's favorite 8 foot tall yellow bird, it's Big Bird. I don't like making full body costume puppets unless is a character I created myself so when I make large Sesame Street puppets I make them giant hand puppets instead of costumes. I made this bird in April of 2018. I made him out of a furry yellow throw blanket. I made his legs out of orange polar fleece. The rings on his legs are made from pink feather boas. The hands and beak are made from yellow polar fleece. The head is fleece fabric covered in yellow turkey feathers. I might cover the rest of him in feathers in the near future. I am working on his teddy bear Radar.
Big Bird
I also made his best friend Mr Aloysius Snuffleupagus. He was made from a large furry brown rug. His eyes are stuffed eyes made from cotton fabric. He is very large and very awesome. I was very happy with how Snuffy turned out.
Mr Aloysius Snuffleupagus
And we couldn't forget Big Bird's much smaller friend Little Bird. I made Little Bird in spring of 2018 but never got to use him but thankfully he will be put to some good use on this new show. He is made out of almost all of the same materials as Big Bird

Cookie Monster

Here is one of my favorite Sesame Street muppets. He is furry blue and has a craving for sugar, it's The Cookie Monster. Cookie is made from a dark blue furry blanket that I got from a thrift store. His eyes are made from ping pong balls. I built him in April of 2018 but much like Ernie he has had many modifications. He had some legs that I removed but I thin I might attach them back on. I gave him a new mouth palate since the last one was to round and crumpled. I really like this Cookie Monster.

Bert and Ernie

I have to show you the 2 main puppets I made for this show (I probably should have waited to show you Elmo). It's Ernie and his old buddy Bert.

Here is Bert. Bert is made of some darker yellow fleece and that's because I wanted him to look like the 80's style Bert. His shirt was made from a striped T-Shirt I got from a thrift store.
Bert
I have had this Ernie since November of 2017 but I keep giving him modifications. He is made from orange polar fleece. My grandmother knitted his sweater. I love this Ernie.
Ernie

Elmo

Here is one of the puppet I made for this new show. He's furry, red, ticklish and the best friend of Zoe. It's Elmo. I made Elmo out of some shaggy red fur, it's the same kind of fur used to make pillows. His eyes are Styrofoam and he has coat hangers for arm rots. I really like the way he turned out and soon I plan to make his best friend Zoe.

About our Adventure

I am starting a new series that will be exclusive to viewers on the Muppet fan site Muppet Central. The show focuses on Ernie and Bert going on wild adventures with their new friends Officer Pluky (a pigeon cop and friend of Bert) and Captain Quack (a duck ship captain and friend of Ernie). This show won't be like Bert and Ernie's great Adventures though. We will also be introduced to Commander Murph (a space commander who helps the group on all of their adventures) and Otto the Martian (the captain of all the martians). This show will be good for hardcore Sesame Street fans beacause every episode features an appearance of and old retired muppet or an old school refrence. It's a show all of you can enjoy.\
